Return to Course Introduction Page

In the beginning was the Word…a Universe manifesting from sound, from vibration. Life is born to express. Our own human design is a flowing system that functions best when it is cleared of residual energy on a daily basis. Events happen and we respond. The voice is the vehicle of discharge. Let it respond and we remain in a fluid, healthy state.

Restrict the voice and you soon have system backup. The throat chakra is the chimney for the sacral chakra. This sacral chakra is where joy, passion, creativity, and sexuality are vibrating. It is also the home of the energetic frequencies of abuse, woundings, fear, and depression. The wounds and blockages of the second chakra significantly effect the throat chakra, because the wounds are often unexpressed, held out of fear or threat or patterning.

Not expressing causes compromise in both chakras. Their rate of vibration slows. When it slows the energy moves gradually toward a physical manifestation. Since the body is designed to release the stressors, it continues to attempt to get our conscious self to pay attention and release the old energetic woundings. But we are taught as a culture to tough it out, ignore the pain, medicate, or divert. We ignore the body’s callings and stuff more unexpressed energy into the chakras. Conditions intensify and the callings get stronger until a significant dis-ease manifests. Typically, this gets the attention and there is a shift in perspective, behavior, and one begins to clear, averting a major disaster.

The voice is the vehicle to release. Sound massages the organs and the in body chakras to shake out the lower frequency energetic storage. Speaking one’s truth through word or, better yet, sound is the prescription for healthy living. The silent voice is a solid invitation to the blues…

The ideal is to be clear. This allows the body’s natural design to take precedence and maintain energetic equilibrium…no new energy is held in body. One experiences, responds, clears, increases awareness, and chooses higher frequency thoughts and behaviors.

We are, typically, combinations of the unspoken from our life experiences and traumas up until now, and the moment before us. Once we have cleared out the old, our task is to add nothing new. Making clearing through daily expression a priority allows you to stay in a powerful, neutral place.

How to do it?

First, you become comfortable with vocal and verbal expression. Reclaim your enjoyment of your voice. Use your private time and space to express. Let nothing go unnoticed and unspoken. Express what you feel. Say the words out loud with emotion until the charge is gone. By the way, it is a wonderful process that grew out of the 80’s Gestalt modalities… expressing to the empty chair. The bottom line…say what must be said, in the matter that reflects the intensity of the situation.

Develop a daily routine of dumping the unspoken energy before going to bed. Make it a part of your pre retirement routine. Go into the bathroom and open up the lid to the toilet. Proceed to speak the days unsaid into the water of the commode. Speak until you are complete. When you are finished, then flush and let the water bind the lower vibration energy and send it down the drain. You will be left with peace and clarity, ready for sleep and the rejuvenation and learning that takes place during the rest period.

The body does not know the difference between speaking your truth to the chair or the actual person. It is a clearing of energy only. In fact, it is probably safer to speak to the chair. That way there is no human receiver to react to what  you said…causing you to hold back. Shout, shout, let it all out!

Speaking Your Truth

Clearing Via the Voice

Using the voice to respond to the body’s callings is an ideal way to create a peaceful inner space. When an ache or pain arises and you notice it, turn to the voice first to remedy it. The body is seeking release. The Higher Self has deemed the moment opportune so it attempts to get your conscious attention via the sensation or pain. You can send sound to the area and intend to break up the blockage. Or, you can focus on the area and let the message express through your voice in whatever sound it desires.

This will create a relationship within that will invite even greater releases of the held frequencies.

Make the voice a constant companion. Share what is up. As a child we orchestrated our moments with vocalizations and sound that expressed what we were doing as well as how we were responding. This symphony helped to clear us. The older we got the less permission we got to share our words, hurts, and perspectives. It is time to reclaim our beautiful relationship with our voice.

The more we use it the more harmonious we will be. Share your ideas to your “imaginary” helpers and guides and teachers and angels. Speak out loud. Fall in love with your voice and the “sound of you”. Dialogue your moments. Give a narrative to your day.

Share your thoughts and ideas with your friends. Have a perspective. Make a stand on some topics important to you. Ask for help. Offer your services. Express gratitude. Teach somebody something. Record your voice and get familiar with hearing it outside of your head. Notice the inflections and identify the emotion behind it. Befriend your voice. It will make a huge difference in your life.

Singing is an energetically powerful tool for living. Refer to the list at the top left of this page. Measurable results from tests support the key points. When you sing you activate the cells…they dance. You move emotion. You release stagnant energies and cleanse the energy bodies.

Singing massages the inner body organs and quickens the spirit by the sheer nature of vibration. Singing focuses the mind on the now and lifts one out of “stinking thinking” or self-running patterns. The rhythm of the song brings a pulse to your moments, helping you flow with the task at hand. The melody moves through the body itself, activating pockets of resistance or lower frequency.

The only thing that gets in the way of singing is one’s one perspective on the “quality of the voice”. Old injunctions or experiences as a child around singing stay locked in place, until further notice. These old messages are powerful enough to keep us from singing. Then we become critical of the sound of our voice. We learn to sing by singing. Reclaim the joy of singing first, then work on developing the ear to hold pitch. It can be done. Just sing…for the sake of singing…and healing.

Cost of Repressing Your Voice

Applying this information as a Sound Alchemist

The Alchemist must have a voice vocabulary established before working with others, feeling comfortable in making sound and expressing emotion. Develop the capacity to vocally laugh, cry, scream, yawn audibly, whistle, hum, sign, keen, tone, groan, wail, hum, etc. These sounds themselves will stir the emotion which in turns moves the stuck energy. Your comfort with sound will increase the sense of safety with your client.

Because of the raising of the vibration on the planet there is much less need to explore the details of our past traumas. The work done by countless individuals in therapy through the 70’s to the 90’s has moved the vibration to levels where it is now about the release of the stored energy. The body speaks through sensation, the attention goes there, and the invitation is spoken for release…and the energy moves. The focus seems to be the catalyst in these times. So, the comfort with sound can do wonders in clearing a persons woundings quickly and fairly easily.

This is a powerful first step to helping someone regain access to their voice. Applying focus on resonance chambers next will heighten their in body awareness to begin to catch the release callings stemming from the natural tendency to clear.
