- Emotion is energy in motion. It is an energetic element that makes incarnation into and onto the Earth Plane a very desirable calling card to the Cosmos. It is said that various beings are lined up to enter this dimension and feel what it is like to feel.
- Emotional energy is a powerful force that enters unfiltered into the back of the second chakra. Life’s moments, circumstances, choices made, familial patterns, and past life carryover influence the experience of emotion during one’s life. And because this is the dimension of polarity and choice, there is no smooth flow when it comes to emotion. Most have honestly forgotten what pure emotion is and how it is designed to move through the energy bodies.
- The primary emotions are joy, sadness, anger, fear, and grief (which is a remarkable combination of all the others). Each is felt in the physical body as an energetic substance, a sensation that has accompanying visceral symptomologies. There is an energy body called the emotional body, which does contain some of the energetic residue of unprocessed/unreleased emotions. It is a higher frequency than the physical. The longer the substance stays in the emotional body the more it lowers in vibration and becomes physical. In an attempt to clear the whole body creates opportunities for awareness…callings to the conscious self, if you will. Often the physicalization of the energy creates dis-ease or challenges that finally do get the attention of the host. Ideally the emotion is addressed and released, allowing the physical symptoms to dissipate.
- Each emotion aligns consistently with one of the in-body chakras: joy and fear in the Sacral; anger in the Solar Plexus; sadness in the Heart. The Root contains energetic tendrils of all the emotions as it is the foundation where survival is addressed. The throat chakra is the chimney to the Sacral, primarily, as it allows the expression of the abuses and woundings that one has experienced and held. When one feels sensations in one of the chakras it is a strong indication that the accompanying emotion has been triggered to clear old energy. Knowing this you can support and encourage through breath, word, intention, and physical activity.
- Emotion is designed to enter, be triggered by an event or thought, move and increase in intensity as it flows through the body, and then dissipate and release. Too often the flow is interrupted. This act in itself is one of the leading causes of eventual physical dis-eases and conditions. There is a cycle to the flow, a natural rhythm that accompanies awareness and the permission to allow the movement. In an act of good faith one learns to surrender to the movement and ride it to its release.
- Unfortunately, society and culture does not really support it. Emotions have been branded as weakness. Men, in particular, are pushed to not feel. The tear-cam zooms in on the first sign of a tear in an athlete, performer, etc…anyone who dares to feel. The sensationalism of the accompanying statements that say losing it, breaking down, falling apart…perpetuate a sad myth that emotion is a bad thing. Nothing could be further from the truth
- The greatest gift we can give ourselves is to allow the tears to be released. Emotion is the flow of life…allow it
