- For residue emotional baggage a useful empowerment is to to finally say what must be said to those who were the perpetrators upon us. This is a particular process that can be applied to the emotions of anger, fear, and sadness/grief. For each emotion make a list of all people and situations where you hold it. List the people and the situation briefly. You can do this for each emotion separately or make the lists for all three in one sitting. Take one list and move down it, calling the person to mi nd along with the situation. Breathe into it and pout yourself there. Then simply let stream of consciousness take over and say everything you need to say in the way it comes out. Speak like a sailor if desired. Move the energy by speaking and giving permission. You will know when you are done as there is nothing left to say. Upon completion say “And so it is”. Then use your hand and cut across the appropriate chakra: Anger/Solar Plexus. Fear/Sacral, Sadness/Grief/Heart. Complete it. Determine where in your body this energy was held and released from and then fill it with Light, Love, a color, or an intention. Now move to the next.
- Too often in life we have unfinished business. People and situations have come and gone. Sometimes they left and sometimes they were sent away. And sometimes there was no reason but they were gone. This leaves a lot of energetic baggage corded to our being at the lower chakras. . Like above, make a list of those incomplete endings, people who have left us for one reason or another. Bring each to mind and apply the following strategy:
1. Imagine they are in a chair before you.
2. Tell them what you do not miss about them being gone
3. Tell them what you do miss about them being gone
4. Thank them for the experience and the learnings. Wish them well and then say “Goodbye”. See them getting up and walking away. Stand up and use your hand to cut the cords across all of your lower body chakras front and back. Turn and walk away for seven steps. Stop, take a breath, say “It is finished”, bring Light and Love and pink/violet color to your heart chakra….and then go on to the next one.
- Throw a tantrum. A tantrum happened as a child when we found ourselves getting so challenged that we attempted to leave our body (of course, unaware we were). The energy of the emotions, usually anger, was quickly amassing and we felt overwhelmed. The Higher Self intervened and caused a mini-explosion of the energy, resulting in a tantrum, complete with sound, stomping, and flailing limbs. Start using this again in a safe place away from people. Bring it up and it will move the residue. You do not even have to know what it is about.
- Utilize sound tools and Native American Traditions to generically clear energies that you feel. Choose to gather some rattles, metal or quartz bowls, bells, and White Sage, lemon grass, or cedar. When you feel energy moving or calling, grab a rattle or two and shake it around the area that is active. You can also use the voice and send sound to the spot or let it make sound as if expressing (notice….sound, not words). Use the herbs alone or in combination to cleanse the energy and bring the spot back to equilibrium. Create your personal medicine kit with the rattles and herbs available wherever you go. As always, when a release occurs, bring a new energy in to take the place, Light, color, intention, sound.
- Ho’oponopono. This is a very effective Hawaiian Forgiveness ritual. Forgiveness is something that is tossed around in New Age circles as if a mere application will magically wash away the wounds. Sometimes, though not often, it does. But too often, I have found< the energetic debris gets in the way of the process. Clearing that debris first will result in a cleaner and more effective clearing. So, with all of the above, practice the ritual.
