- Both meditation and guided journeys can transcend dimensions by intention and choice
- A meditation is the act of creating a relaxed inner state by being receptive to information or guidance. More often meditation involves something to shift the focus from the monkey mind chatter: breath, mantra, chant, visualization, etc. Getting underneath the distractions can open the door to guidance. Though the goal of the meditation can be to relax and clear the mind, more often than not it leads to information, problem solving, guidance, or inspiration.
- Examples of simple meditation is to breathe in and out slowly. Attention is brought to the breathing process until the desired state is reached and one becomes open. Using a mantra like, “Om Mane Padme Om” can be repeated to bring the focus back when it strays to set the frequency to access guidance. Many mantras are ancient and carry a potent energy with them. They can be called upon specifically to access the collective intentional energy attached to it. Walking and counting steps in a repeating cycle or a long journey can be used to get out of one’s way to receive guidance as well. Spending time in Nature can be very therapeutic and meditative as well.
- A guided journey is both active and receptive. Typically it follows a scripted journey that leads one from place to place and suggests a state of being while there: relax, be receptive, put up a screen, visualize a pattern of behavior as a name and then disintegrate it to help clear the pattern, be receptive to guidance from a being who comes into the visualization, etc. The guided journey is filled with suggestion and can be utilized to make changes in habits, alter thinking and beliefs, project into a new and desired way of living, etc. The journey can be recorded with sounds and ambiances for a more multi-sensory experience. Subliminal affirmations can be embedded in the audio as well. Suffice it to say that the journey can move freely through dimensions if desired.
