- The Color of our Solar System is indigo
- The color of the last Solar System was green
- The color of the Solar System to come is red
- In the last system there were no bright colors, only grays and browns
- In the next system there will be colors yet undreamed of by humans
- Each of the seven colors is a subsidiary of indigo
- Each of the seven colors has six sub-colors
- All this sudden increase in color-consciousness on the part of humanity indicates what we have been awaiting for so long — the restoration of the Mysteries. In blending the harmonies of color, sound and fragrance lies great opportunities for the development of human awareness. Their synthesis in the mind at a time of spiritual crises heralds the rites of initiation. The Second, Sixth and Seventh Ray ashrams are working upon the dissemination of color awareness in man at this time.
- The rationale of this technique is based on the occult knowledge that there are very fine particles attached to the oxygen atom in what is known as a vitality globule. Each of the seven particles linked by pranic energy in the vitality globule has a different colouring. When we breathe in the vitality globules, they are dispersed to the various centres. Focusing the mind upon a particular colour when breathing in will tend to accentuate the storage of the particular 'anu' from the vitality globule in its particular centre in the etheric body.
During the activity of daily life we should draw in the colour which most stimulates us to activity and this should be done consciously several times per day. Before resting, we should do the same with that colour which is most restful (relaxing) for us. There is of course the application of colour directly to the body through the screening of sunlight or artificial light. Umbrellas with different coloured canopies are useful here.
The times of the daylight hours are also important in colour use. At various times of the day certain colours are strongest. At noon orange and yellow predominate. At sunset and dawn the colours at the limits of the spectrum, the reds, violets and indigos, predominate.
Water can be drenched with colour and swallowed. In a few seconds every part of the body is receiving part of the water into itself. Certainly within two minutes every cell of the body derives its share from a glass of water and sunlight. In taking showers it is possible to fix coloured globes in such a way that the water is permeated with a particular colour.
We are inclined to overlook some of the less obvious reservoirs of light. All foods are derived to a great extent from sunlight and in some foods there is a predominance of certain colours. Beetroot is the obvious reservoir of red. When we eat we are feeding energy of activity to the body tissues but colour to the aura. Diet can affect the aura considerably. Vegetable diet will tend to stimulate and feed the higher colour centres of the aura.
