Human language is comprised of archetypal phoneme sounds. Using them calls the energetic body back to the original design. These specific seed, or base,  sounds are comprised of the vowel sounds made by the voice mechanism of humans. These sounds can be aligned with the chakras so that their use stimulates the chakra to clear, release, and balance by awakening potential energies found in each. The first five are followed by the humming mmm sound. This phoneme is actually the sound of the crown chakra in many schools of thought. Therefore the seed syllable washes the sound of the consonant plus the heart sound with the higher frequency of I AM.

James D’Angelo, in his book, Seed Sounds for Tuning Chakras, has created adapted seed sounds which include the traditional phoneme for the chakra. The vowels and the consonants are the nourishment for the soul.

Explore both patterns of seed sounds with daily vocalization. You can stick with one chakra and repeat the seed sound alternated with the adapted one if you like or follow the sequence of sounding from root to crown, even considering doing it in a descending manner as well. Use the seed sounds and the adapted seed sounds together or separately. Notice the results as sensations, energy, states of mind, relaxation, peace filled states, etc.
