Flow Pattern:
1. Sit or lie down. Keep your spine as straight as possible or imagine sitting with a straight spine.
2. Relax. Calm the mind and open the Spiral Pillar of Light and/or Earth and Sky meditations for grounding and to charge your system.
3. Imagine the seven vortices of energy that are rooted in the Hara line and blossom in the aura. Try to feel all of them as vibration affecting the body area with which they connect.
4. Begin with the Base chakra and inhale energy into one after another, using your attention to notice how each feels. Here are the locations: First or Base chakra is in the pelvic bowl facing down to the Earth; second or Sacral chakra is above the pubic bone and below the belly button, facing front and back; third or Solar Plexus chakra is below the ribcage above the belly button, facing front and back; fourth or Heart chakra is on your breastbone in the center of your chest, facing front and back; fifth or Throat chakra is in your throat, facing front and back; sixth or Third Eye chakra is between your eyebrows, facing front and back; seventh or Crown chakra is at the top of the head facing up.
5. Experience the content of each chakra individually: What color is it? What are the quality and shade of color'? Is it clear, cloudy, vibrant, dull? How much energy does it emit? Is it full or empty? Is it perfectly or ill-shaped? Round or oval? Is the chakra spinning? If so, clockwise or counterclockwise? What is the emotion of the chakra? How does it feel? Is it tight, expansive, energized, depleted? Is it hot, cold, or neutral? Do you enjoy the sensation here'? There is no need to change anything, simply be in the moment with what you feel.
6. As you sit with each chakra, you may or may not notice that the chakra is asking for something, perhaps a color, light, more vibrancy, or space.
7. Inhale and imagine your breath providing the chakra with whatever it needs. Notice what thoughts, emotions, feelings get in the way of receiving and also notice what assists you in being able to receive.
8. Does this area have an image, perhaps an animal or light being? Is there a message for you?
9. After exploring each individual chakra, step back and visualize the entire path. Does one chakra draw your attention more than another? Is there flow between each? Is any chakra energetically isolated? What do you feel, sense, experience, and imagine as you look at your chakra system? Do you identify with the emotion or spiritual challenge of any particular chakra?
10. Breathe through the entire chakra system, letting go of anything you no longer need while strengthening that which you want to keep.
11. Just sit and enjoy the sensation of your chakras vibrating with each other. 12. Take the time to write down your experience.
